Today I’m going to be doing a review/my thoughts on the Lush Cosmetics pink FUN and Snow Fairy Limited Edition Shower Gel. Jessica bought me this lovely gift box with both these items in for Christmas and I decided to share my thoughts on it with you.
Pink FUN Bar
I’ve been eyeing this product in Lush for absolutely ages and also my friend Ella had this so I remember seeing it on her side a year or two ago however I never went out and actually bought it just because it’s a doughy kind of material and I was very wary on whether to actually buy it as I didn’t know if it would be worth the money. However I’m so glad I got it as a gift because it’s actually really fun to use hence the name of it.
It’s a gentle 4-in-1 product, which means it can be used for; shampoo, bubble bar, soap, or as a play dough bath fun, making it versatile for all ages and I like it because it has different purposes to it and isn’t restricted to one thing.
I wasn’t expecting it to lather up much because of its purpose however it beat my expectations. However even though it can be used for hair I didn’t really enjoy using it on my hair and didn’t feel as if it was cleaning it properly. On the other hand using it as a soap I found it was amazing, it left my skin nice and soft and feeling more moisturized.
Overall I would recommend this product and probably would buy again however the price is £5 therefore depending on what you’re going to use it for; soap and hair or just soap or just for fun that’s what would make my overall choice of buying regularly or just the one off on special occasions.
For hair I would rate it 3/5 just because I felt it didn’t do much for my hair type (however it may be different for others).
As for body I would rate it 4/5 because it’s really creamy on the skin however I find it melts into your body quite quickly and I felt it more moisturizing rather than cleaning wise.
However it is great FUN and I definitely would recommend the product.
Snow Fairy Shower Gel
Aah Snow Fairy. I have been a fan of this for the last year and a bit and have loved it since October 2013 when my friend Chloe bought me the mini version (just like what this box contains.) However it is only available for Christmas time however they bring it out late October/early November into stores so I knew I would have to wait another year to purchase again, however there was no need as Jessica bought me this and I was so excited to use it again.
The scent is very sweet and reminds me of pear drops (believe it or not I think that’s what it is supposed to smell like, correct me if I am wrong) however I love this scent so much and lingers on your skin even after you have gotten out the bath and even when you wake up (if you use this before you go to bed.) If you don’t like sweet scents then you probably wouldn’t like this, you might do but it’s definitely a really sweet scent so it depends on your taste.
I like this as you can pop into your bath for bubbles or you can use just to wash your skin or both if you wanted to.
Overall I rate this a 5/5 just because it’s one of my favourite products, keeps me smelling nice and I also feel really clean after the use of it.

The thing I like about Lush Cosmetics is that they are against Animal Testing so you know that no animals were harmed in the protest of them testing it. In addition to this I like to think Lush products are more natural compared to a lot of soaps and body bath cosmetics. Maybe not however that’s how I perceive Lush products.
